On my second day here I returned to Krankesjön, a lake with some very nice bird watching huts and towers. I met a few seasoned bird photographers and got some much needed practice with my Swedish. I also caught some footage of a bird called a Sävsparv surfing the wind on a reed.
Day three saw me cycling down a path and then realising that a particularly alluring sunset was about to happen in front of me. I pedalled until I found a nice spot to film it. A field with long grass and not too many bugs.
On day 4 I stumbled upon the perfect place to record some music outside. Wind has been an issue for the microphones in most locations but this forest was wonderfully calm. I set up some cameras and microphones and recorded some flute ideas. I was fortunate to be accompanied by a chorus of birds and a couple of butterflies…unfortunate to be joined by a million flies.
